Lake of the Ozarks, Mo. – Looking for some fun in the sun? Maybe a wet and wild weekend on the water? AquaPalooza, the Lake’s largest boating and floating event, returns to Dog Days Bar and Grill at the Lake of the Ozarks tomorrow, Saturday, July 18, 2015.
If it’s summertime, it must be AquaPalooza time! What’s an ‘AquaPalooza’ you ask? It’s hybrid fun in the sun at our FunLake, a FREE event that’s equal parts concert-on-the-water and boating party. So if you want to float your boat, rubber or otherwise, plan on being at the Grand Glaize Bridge at noon tomorrow. The festivities run from noon until 5 p.m. and feature live music(four concerts), games, prizes and much more.
After 5 p.m. and so much fun in the sun ~ it’s time to come to the Inn at Harbour Ridge B&B – Lake of the Ozarks and relax! Or if you’re a last minute type, just grab your floaties right now and head to the Lake tonight so you can rest up before your big day on the water! $365 includes two night’s lodging, a fun and fabulous breakfast each morning and lots of R &R &R!
Our breakfast is generally served at 9AM so you’ll have plenty of time to get to Dog Days before noon on Saturday morning. Dog Days is located at the 19 mile marker by water and 1232 Jefferies Road in Osage Beach by land (about 7 minutes from the Inn at Harbour Ridge). Spectators in boats and floats begin lining the cove outside of Dog Days mid morning. Soon there’s so many floats, boats, and folks that it looks there’s a floating city right there in the Main Channel! Dog Days features a swimming area for all you blow up boaters and land lubbers, as well as boat slip rentals….The Inn has a nice flat area to park your boat when you’re not at the party and we’re close to PB #2, if you want to put in there and scoot on over by water.
So between AquaPalooza with its fun in the sun and the award winning Inn at Harbour Ridge Bed and Breakfast with its fun in bed….we’ve got you covered! Why don’t you come jump in the Lake and then enjoy our romantic bed and breakfast, too?
