Aren’t the pictures great? Here’s the Inn’s story. In 1999 the Inn at Harbour Ridge was custom built as a ‘built as’ B & B. Lots of TLC and special touches have gone into it over the last 20 plus years, making it perfect for romantic getaways in Missouri. The Inn opened for business on Valentines Weekend of 2000 with a novice innkeeper who can proudly say today, “I’m living my dream – even after all these years!”
The Inn offers two common areas.On the lower level there’s a great room, called the 19th Hole, with a big covered patio. Wait till you kick back at the bar in the 19th Hole, enjoy the gas-burning fireplace, choose a movie (your choice – chick flicks or action movies, classics or new releases) and even munch on the complimentary popcorn. There’s also a guest fridge stocked with soda and sparkling water. Watch out when you start checking your swing and playing pro golfer, OK? Gringo’s Bar is out on the back deck and the gazebo is just down the sidewalk.
I serve a delicious breakfast feast each morning and love to bake, so you’ll probably smell muffins or mini loaves in the oven. I’ll try my best to WOW you with my cheddar omelet or baked cinnamon French toast and peach-smothered sausages. Sometimes the fruit has a splash of Chambord or Port or who knows what I might throw on there!!! Almost forget – I’ll deliver an early-morning coffee/tea tray to you door, so you can enjoy an early cup in bed or on your private deck. Please let me know when you make your reservation if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions for breakfast. Breakfast IS half my name and I aim to please!
The Inn is just outside the city limits of Osage Beach on a paved road, overlooking a quiet cove on the Lake, just back from the 23-mile marker. The community dock and swim platform is just down the hill. . . pack those little water wings! We’re close to several golf courses and offer our guests discounted prices at most of the golf courses around the Lake. Osage Beach Shopaholics, we’re just minutes from stores at the Osage Beach Outlet Market Place, where every day is a sale day and lots of charming boutique shops.
Henry Ridge, my black and white cocker spaniel with a ‘tude’, is in residence and loves to snooze in our personal living quarters, unless invited out to play. In the warmer months, the squirrels take a bath in our backyard fountain, and sometimes Mama Deer brings the twins up to the backyard and my garden. There’s get a great view of Mother Nature and the birds of the Lake during breakfast in the Inn’s solarium breakfast room beside the top deck and herb pots.
I’m proud to be a long time member of the Bed and Breakfast Association of Missouri, which means the property has been inspected and approved for you, my guests. I’m also a member of ALP, the Association of Lodging Professionals, and the Lake of the Ozaks Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Inn at Harbour Ridge is at the top of the list for romantic getaways and honeymoons and the best of both worlds for guys (golf, fishing) and ladies (sunning and shopping).
